The four day teppam festival at Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple starts today evening (Feb 8) at 6.30 p.m. The float is almost ready at Chitrakulam and the final touches are being given by the workers there.
Today and on Feb 10, the deity – Sri Adi Kesava Perumal, will be taken on the float followed by a veedi purappadu at 9 p.m. Tomorrow Sri Andal too will be taken on the float.
The teppam festival for Lord Rama will be held on Feb 11. On the last day – Feb 12, the images of Pezhalvar and Thirumizhai Alwar will be taken on the float. The temple is located at Kesava Perumal Street, Mylapore. Ph: 24643873.
