‘Sarasa Natya Mala’, a dance festival in memory of guru K. J. Sarasa will be held at BVB, Mylapore from Feb 17 – 19. The guests of honour at the inaugural function on Feb 17 are film and music director Gangai Amaren and Krishnakumari Narendran, founder-director, Abinaya Natyalaya.
The K. J. Sarasa Memorial Award will be given to mridangam artiste – M. Dhananjayan. Artistes who will be performing at this festival include guru Nandini Ramani, Shantha and V. P. Dhananjayan, Radica Giri, Dr. Sreedhara Akkihabbalu and several others.
