The departments of accounting and finance and bank management of Vivekananda college (evening), Mylapore are conducting an international and national conference on Feb 19 and 20 at the college premises.
On Feb 19, the topic will be ‘Business research – a new paradigm’. Daug Jung, asst. manager – head operations, Korea Trade Centre will inaugurate the event. Professors from the University of Colombo, Srilanka, Pachiappa’s College and Anna Adarsh College for women will chair the technical session. Albert Gafarov, economic development officer, Russian Cultural Centre will preside over the valedictory session.
On Feb 20, the national conference will be held on the topic ‘Faculty improvement programme with special reference to human resources management – Swami Vivekananda’s perspective’. Dr. S. Sivasubramaniam, advisor (Research and development) Vel’s University is the chief guest. Professors from the School of Economics, New Delhi, Madras Medical College and Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala will be the keynote speakers at this event. Ph: 24992815.
