The Vasantha Memorial Trust, which has been creating awareness about cancer for more than 20 years, is organising a celebration for people who have survived cancer – ’Cancer Victors’ at M. Ct. M School, Luz on Feb 14.
166 people have already registered for this event which will be attended by several dignitaries. Popular dance groups will perform at the event and there will be a 15 minute yoga demo too. The highlight of the event will be a lamp lighting ceremony – a gesture to symbolize rebirth after cancer. 9 a.m. onwards.
