The AMS Working Women’s Hostel in San Thome is offering dormitory-type accommodation to college girls and young working women who hail from economically lower sections of society who need accommodation in the city.
This hostel, run by the well known social organization Andhra Mahila Sabha is used at No. 12, Rosary Church Road, San Thome.
Aparna Agarwal who manages the hostels of AMS says that each woman is given a bed, an almirah and table in the dorm hall. The washrooms are common. Residents pay a small rental fee and enjoy breakfast, packed lunch and dinner provided at the dining room.
