Chennai Story Telling Festival 2016 is starting this weekend. Inauguration is on Fri, Feb 5 , 5 p.m. and the fest goes on till Feb 14. 7 story tellers will participate in daily evening sessions. The stories will be related to two themes – Relating to the Big Rain of Nov / Dec 2015 and Storytelling for Communication between cultures, between people and within people.
On Feb 12, a workshop on how to tell stories has also been organised. This workshop is an opportunity for college students interested in the art of story telling. At Dr MGR-Janaki College (in R A Puram, Chennai), on Friday 12 February. Certificates would be given.
