Apsaras Arts, of Singapore, present their latest production – Alapadma- inspired by symbolisms of the lotus in different cultures—ancient civilisations of India, Egypt and Southeast Asia and explore its representation in mythology, iconography and philosophy through dance. On Feb 27, there will be an illustrated talk at C. P. Ramaswamy Aiyer Foundation on the choreographic process and on Feb 28, a performance at Narada Gana Sabha for Bharata Illango Foundation, 10. 30 a.m.
