Here is an update on admissions at some schools in the Mylapore area. Mylapore Times will keep sharing info from other schools as and when we get it –

ST. BEDE’S ANGLO-INDIAN SCHOOL, SAN THOME
St. Bede’s Anglo-Indian School, San Thome has started issuing online applications for
LKG, UKG and class I. The applications will be issued till Feb 12 at www.stbedeschennai.org. The filled in forms can be submitted to the school office on Feb 13 and 15 between 9 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. Admissions for other classes have been closed. The school is located at 37, San Thome High Road, San Thome. Ph: 24983450.

CHELLAMMAL VIDYALAYA NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL, MYLAPORE
This is an English medium school. Applications for classes LKG – V will be issued in the third week of March. Admission process will start in April. For details contact the school at 43/19, Nadu Street, Mylapore. Ph: 24933169.

 

M.P. ANANDH MATRIC HIGHER SEC. SCHOOL, MYLAPORE
Applications for LKG will be issued on Feb 10. For other classes it will be issued on Mar 10. The school is located at 10, First Link Street, C. I. T. Colony, Mylapore. Ph: 24991923.

Applications for LKG under the RTE category will be available at the school office only from Feb 8 – 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applications will be issued only to the parent after the name of the child, date of birth and names of the parents are noted down. Filled in applications along with the necessary support documents must be submitted to the school office by 3 p.m. on Feb 15. Verficiation of applications and documents will begin from Feb 16 and the list of selected candidates will be displayed on March 20. The school is located at 124, R. H. Road, Mylapore. SREE KARPAGAVALLI VIDYALAYA MIDDLE SCHOOL, MYLAPORE

This is a Tamil medium school. Applications for admission into classes I – V will be issued during the first week of February. For details contact the school at 4, East Mada Street, Mylapore. Ph: 24958726.

CHETTINAD HARI SHREE VIDYALAYAM, R. A. PURAM

THE GROVE SCHOOL, ALWARPET

SIR SIVASWAMI KALALAYA Sr. Sec. SCHOOL, MYLAPORE

The application form for admission into LKG under the sibling category was issued on Jan 8. Parents along with their ward will be called for an interview during the month of February.

KESARI Hr. Sec. SCHOOL, MYLAPORE

This is a Telugu and English medium school. While classes I – V are exclusively Telugu medium based, classes VI – X have both Telugu and English medium. Classes XI and XII are English medium based.
