After cleaning campaigns at Mandaveli and Luz Corner bus stops, Thuvakkam, a Mylapore based NGO, took to the streets after dark on Jan 9 to clean up the bus stop at St. Mary’s Road, opp. Raintree Hotel. About 14 volunteers assembled after 10 p.m. with brooms, dustpans, paints and brushes and cleaned and painted the bus stand.
Thuvakkam carries out this activity every month. A worn out bus stand is identified and given a clean and fresh look. If you would like to contribute to this cause contact Krishna at 9444333624.
