Vipanchee Trust recently conducted its annual festival at R. K. Swamy Hall, Mylapore. The festival was inaugurated by Dr. Ambika Kameshwar, director, RASA and K. N. Ramaswamy, director, Bhavans on Dec 25. An award function was held on the last day – Dec 31.
This year there were 20 individual and 4 group performances. 26 awardees were recognized and were presented with a citation and a memento from Vipanchee and a gift hamper.
At the award function, the chief guest awarded the titles and musicologist Dr. B. M. Sundaram gave away the mementoes.
