Narada Gana Sabha is organising an ‘Isai – Natya – Nataka Vizha’ from Dec 12 – Jan 1, 2016 at its premises at T. T. K. Road, Alwarpet. The event will be inaugurated by N. Murali, president, The Music Academy on Dec 12 at 5.30 p.m.
Several noted artistes will be honoured at this event. The title of ‘Nadhabrahman’ will be conferred on guru T. V. Sankaranarayanan, senior musician award will be given to flautist Sikkil N. Neela and the Tirunelveli P. Subramania Iyer Award will be given to nadaswara vidwan M. K. S. Siva.
Later prizes will be distributed to the endowment awardees and the winners of music competitions held earlier. A performance by Kadri Gopalnath (Saxophone) will follow the inaugural function.
