The Mylapore unit of Thamizhnadu Brahmin Association (Regd.) is organising a Margazhi festival from Dec 17 – Jan 14 at Sri Adi Kesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore. Veena. E. Gayathri, vice-chancellor, Tamilnadu Music and Fine Arts University, will inaugurate the festival tomorrow (Dec 17) at 7 p.m.
Daily events include an upanyasam by Velukkudi Krishnan at 7.30 a.m. and cultural events at 7 p.m. The members of the association will also be singing thiruppavai pasurams at the temple at 6.30 a.m. everyday. Those who would like to participate can contact VRG Raji at 8825774033.
