More than 1000 devotees flocked to Sri Ayyappa Swami Temple, R. A. Puram to witness the chariot procession (Ther) held in the evening on Dec 26. This was part of the Brahmotsavam celebrations held from Dec 22 – 27.
The event started off with the flag hoisting ceremony on Dec 22 followed by a 1008 sahasra kalasa abhishekam on Dec 23. A puja was also performed for the 18th step in the evening on that day. A large number of devotees were also seen enjoying the music programmes organised in the evening.
