The community at St Thomas Cathedral in San Thome is all set to stage its annual Fancy Fete on the church campus and is hoping the Rain Gods will spare them the monsoon bounty on Sunday.
The fete will be on from 8am to 7 pm and will sport stalls for food, sales and fun games and will be manned by community groups.
Fr Mathias, parish priest says that the fete will go on even if its rains. “We will use the small halls and interiors on our campus to shift some stalls,” he said on Saturday.
Revenues raised at the fete will go to the Mission Sunday collection.
