On Students’ Day, which was celebrated on Oct 15 to commemorate past president Dr. Abdul Kalam’s birthday, the students of Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Mylapore were asked to come to school without books.
The students of Class XII were asked to coordinate the activities of their juniors and maintain discipline in the school. A special programme was put up for the students by the teachers.
The PTA members too joined in to educate the students on life skills like career planning, technology advancements, oral health and so on. A quiz and games like dumb charades and adaptune were held.
