The Madras Sanskrit College in association with V. Krishnaswami Iyer Sanskrit Education Trust and other institutions is celebrating Sanskrit Week from Oct 3 – 10 at the college premises.
A special programme will be held on Oct 5. The chief guest, Dr. Karan Singh, MP, Rajyasabha will speak on ‘Vedanta in modern times’. Dr. N. Veezhinathan, retd professor and head, Dept. of Sanskrit, University of Madras will preside and address the gathering. At 84, R. H. Road, Mylapore, 10.30 a.m onwards.
