The residents of Raja Street, Mandaveli will be celebrating their first annual day on Nov 1. A movie about the events that have happened this past year will be showcased followed by a few cultural programmes by the children of the area. A fire safety talk and a presentation will be given by ex-IPS officer – Ramani.
Residents will also give a talk about a pilot garbage segregation/vermi compost project started at one of the apartments on the street. Members from other residents’ welfare associations – TAKSRA, Kalyana Nagar Association, the newly formed Raja Street extension and Kandaswamy Street associations have been invited for this event. 4 p.m onwards.
