The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Memorial Trust and BVB, Chennai Kendra are organising an event to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 140th birthday on Oct 31 at Bhavans, Mylapore.
N. Vittal, former central vigilance commissioner, Dr. D. K. Oza, former vice chancellor of the Gandhigram Rural University and Dr. A. M. Swaminathan, former finance secretary, Govt. of TN will participate in the event. Prizes will be distributed to the winners of an online essay competition held earlier. At East Mada Street, Mylapore, 6 p.m.
