Every year, National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi organises National Bal Shree selection camps in four streams – creative performance, creative art, creative innovative science and creative writing. The selection is first organised at the local level and those selected at this level can compete at the state championship to be held in Chennai later.
The local level selection camp will be held at Government Music College at DGS Dhinakaran Salai, R. A. Puram on Oct 10 and 11. Students from Chennai aged 10 – 16 years can take part in this competition which will include vocal music, dance, theatre, puppetry, science model making and projects, visual arts, painting, sculpture, craft, poem, story, prose, dialogue, play and more.
