If you wish to add some green to Mylapore, join Nizhal, a city NGO on Sunday morning and lend a hand to its ‘plant a sapling’ project around the tank of Sri Kapali Temple.
The NGO plans to plant punnai saplings at designated places in this area as part of a project with The Hindu newspaper.
The drive starts at 8.30am and will go on till 10 am. Volunteers may meet Nizhal members in froth of Saravana Bhavan on North Mada Street. Call 9840904621 for details.
