The Madras Sanskrit College, Mylapore in association with other institutions is organising Sanskrit Day on Sep 12 at the college premises.
Nirmala Sitaraman, minister of commerce and industry, Govt. of India will preside over the function and honour the recipients of ‘Certificate of Honour’ for Sanskrit received from the President of India for the year 2015.
Dr. Mani Dravid, prof. of mimamsa, will talk about the ‘Importance of the Sanskrit’ and senior advocate – Arvind. P. Datar will give a special address. At 84, R. H. Road, Mylapore, 11 a.m.
