M. Ct. M School, Luz held two events during the first week of August – Founder’s Day- celebrated on Aug 2 and a bhajan competition on Aug 3. On Founder’s Day, students participated in cultural programmes which included a dance drama, a choir performance (seen in the picture), a multi lingual play and a folk dance.
The school toppers were given prizes and a teacher A. Leema Rose, who has served the institution for more than 10 years, was honoured. The chief guest was R. Srinivasan, vice chairman, Redington (India).
Every year, since 1992, the trustees of M. Ct. M School, Luz conduct inter school competitions in elocution, debating, quiz, dance and music in memory of Late Sivagami Pethachi, the founder and correspondent of the school. This year, a bhajan competition was held and the rolling trophy was lifted by Vidya Mandir, Luz. All the participants were given certificates.
