Aadi festival will be held at Sri Mundagakanni Amman Temple at Kapali Thottam, Luz from Aug 14-23. On Aug 14, devotees will carry 207 paal kudam (milk pots) from Mundagakanni Amman Temple at Mylapore to the Mundgakanni Amman Temple at Kapali Thottam. This will be followed by a milk abhishekam for the diety.
A Sakthi karagam veedi ula and uriyadi festival will be held on Aug 15. On Aug 16, koozhu (porridge) will be offered to the diety by devotees followed by a procession of the dieties (decorated with a special pushpa alangaram) in the evening. The closing ceremony will be held on Aug 23. At Canal Bank Road, near Mylapore Railway Station.
