CSIM ( Centre for Social Initiative and Management) Chennai has launched the one-year post graduate diploma in Social Initiative and Management (PGDSIM) at Queen Mary’s College, San Thome. A batch of 40 students who are presently undergoing their 3rd year under-grad course in sociology will be pursuing this course.
The classes will be conducted three days a week for one-year period, says Marie Banu of CSIM.
The programme was launched on Monday in the presence of the Dr. R. Akthar Begam, Principal, Queen Mary’s College.
Adds Banu, “This has been our first step in promoting this course amongst sociology students.”
The students pays only for resource materials ( Rs.1000 ).
