Motorists on Royapettah High Road found on Tuesday that a section of the road they use everyday to go to work had caved in. This small portion of the road is at the Luz Circle
Civic workers used traffic dividers to bound it and it remains so on Wednesday. So cars and buses headed towards Luz Church Road from this end cannot use this section of the road.
Civic workers still have not found out the reason for this collapse. They say that traffic police want them to undertake repairs at night – to avoid creating chaos in the traffic flow.
