Here is a chance to tap the photographer in you. The Photographic Society of Madras is conducting a contest ‘Shoot Madras’ Edition 2.0.
Participants may choose among three themes – 1) My Madras – The photographer’s personal tribute to Chennai, depicting what it means to them. This can include typical Chennai views like beaches, towns, eat outs, city life, cityscapes; scenes against which day to day life in Chennai plays out. 2) Madras Monuments – capturing the magnificence of the city’s architecture, from the oldest to Art Deco and its modern skyline. 3) Unusual Madras The unexpected that breaks tradition and contradicts stereotypes. Participants can also choose from two sections – Open or Student.
Entry is restricted to maximum of two per theme, per participant, but in only one of the two sections. There are more than 18 prizes to win, six each in first, second and third places and 18 special mentions. The first and second place winners will also have free membership to PSM till Mar 31 2016.
