On July 10 and 11, Vidya Mandir, Mylapore hosted its annual inter-school culturals, Reflections. Around 20 schools from all parts of the city participated in the event. Playback Singer Karthik was the chief guest for the event.
Twenty events were conducted this year. Apart from the regular events like shipwreck and dance, new events like robotic race (seen in the picture is Vidya Mandir’s robotic team) , solo music were added to this special edition of Reflections commemorating its 60th year.
The special events were judged by the winners of Airtel Super Singer, Shravan and Deepti and Sulabha- a Radio One jockey. The events were organised by the students of class 11, with assistance from class 12 students.
The winner of the 60th year special event was Vedanth Sai from P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore. Bala Vidya Mandir was declared the overall winner and P.S. Senior the runners-up. —Reported by Rahul. B
