T. S. Krishnamurthy, former chief election commissioner and president of P.S. Educational Society inaugurated a new digital library and lecture hall at P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore on July 8. The digital library which seeks to provide easy and rapid access to a wide range of books will be utilised for conducting online tests and will also be used as a resource centre for project related work. The lecture hall will be used for enrichment classes and in-service training programmes. The school partnered with the alumni batch of 1989 – who donated nine lakhs and 15 computers to set up this library.
