“Science Holic”, a foundation aimed at promoting scientific temper among children was formally launched at a function at Sprouts Montessori School, Mylapore on July 4.
The programme, launched by the director of the foundation – Soundarya Balaji, seeks to educate children about science in a fun and interactive way. Aimed at children aged 6 – 13 years, this programme will cover the basics of chemistry, biology, physics, weather, medicine, space and several other topics.
The classes will be held every weekend and will include a live demonstration. Children will be given the opportunity to do experiments on their own based on the topic of the month.
