Guru Poornima falls on July 31. Events have been planned at R. K. Math, Mylapore in celebration of this. The day will begin with arathi at 5 a.m. followed by pooja and bhajans at 8.10 a.m. In the evening, Vishnu Sahasranama chanting at 5 p.m. and a talk by Swami Gautamananda at 7 p.m. At 31 R. K.
