Over 1000 children took part in a specially curated event – ‘Voices in Harmony’ organised by Rhapsody Music Foundation in the city recently. Vocalist Sudha Raghunathan was the chief guest and music director Harris Jayaram was the guest of honour. Students from several city and corporation schools took part in this event.
After the prelims, the six choirs which were chosen for the finale were judged by young music directors Sean Roldan, Girrish Gopalakrishnan and Saraswathi Vasudevan. PSBB K. K. Nagar lifted the rolling trophy under the junior/senior category and P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore were awarded the silver medal.
