The Adhikara nandhi procession of Velleswarar was a sight to behold this morning. Velleswarar was carried on Nandhi, followed by Murugan with his consorts on gandharvan and Ambal on gandharvi vahanams. The procession kicked off at 6 a.m. around the mada streets. For most of the route the deities were one behind the other. At the junction of R. H. Road and S. mada street, the vahanams lined up next to each other and stopped for a few minutes to catch the sun light. It was a wonderful vision.
