An education fair is on at rhe Russian Centre of Science and Culture on Kasturi Ranga Road, Alwarpet. It opened on Saturday and will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Representatives from top Russian universities from engineering and medical stream are participating in this fair. Some of them are the Kazan State Medical University, Russian International Olympic University, Southern Ural State University, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Kursk State Medical University.
On Saturday, many city students were at the fair which offers ‘affordable education with easy entry criteria’. Advisers here said the fees are far less than in India, the entry level marks must be 50% and that the exposure was international and many campuses of free courses in English.
Each university has put up a stall within the RCSC campus. Students can get guidance from the advisers and there are talks too. The fair is on till 5 pm, Sunday, May 10 and free to all.
