The CBSE (Plus Two) results were announced on May 25. Here is a list of school toppers in the Mylapore area:
Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Senior Secondary School, Mylapore
V. Vignesh (science group) topped the school with a score of 479/500. A resident of Appu Street, Mylapore, he wants to pursue a degree in engineering.
R. Varshini, the commerce group topper scored a total of 475. She is a resident of Mandaveli. She plans to become a chartered accountant. She is learning Carnatic music and plans to pursue that too.
Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A. Puram
Vidhi Maheswari (commerce group) topped her school with a score of 490. She has braved all odds to get this score. In a twist of fate, she was diagnosed with ‘severe tast specific dystonia’ in her right hand which prevented her from writing continuously at a stretch. This did not deter her enthusiasm or determination and she topped the exams under the ‘Students with special needs’ category. She ended up with full marks in accountancy and 99 in economics and business studies.
Niveda G., the science group topper scored a total of 484 and Divya. M, the humanities group topper scored a total of 480.
Vidya Mandir, Mylapore
Megha. R. Sundrani (commerce group) topped the school with a score of 490. She is a resident of R. K. Salai, Mylapore. She wants to become an economist.
Shreya Swaminathan – the science group topper scored a total of 487. She wants to pursue a career in engineering.
P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore
Akash. K. S (science group) topped the school with a score of 483/500. Krishna. S and K. Harini are the commerce group toppers with a score of 481.
Harini K, a resident of Abiramapuram, is thrilled with her results. When asked what her future plans are, she says, “I plan to pursue economics and want to enter the corporate sector”.
S. Krishna, a resident of Bishop Wallers Avenue, Mylapore plans to become a chartered accountant or pursue his studies in Singapore.
