A three day celebration from May 1 – 3 has been planned for Narasimha Jayanthi at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar Temple at Alwarpet. The event starts off with a homam for Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar on May 1 followed by a Thirupavadai utsavam in the evening on May 2.
For the utsavam, about 60 kgs of puliyodharai (tamarind rice) will be used to decorate the diety. The celebrations will end with a violin concert by Dr. S. Vijayaraghavan and his group on May 3. At 57, Bheemanna Mudali 2nd Street, Alwarpet. Ph: 9042556841
