The masi-magam processions will be seen on Kutchery Road in Mylapore from 9 am onwards on Thursday when the gods will be brought out from the local temples and the processions will head to the Marina beachside to recreate symbolically Hindu religious legends.
At Sri Kapali Temple, priests said that the image of Kapaleeswara will be decorated, a deepa aradhana will be done and the procession will start by 9 am. The image of the lord will be symbolically swayed in the sea waters before retracing their steps.
