Condolence meet in memory of vidushi Suguna Purushothaman

Vidushi Suguna Purushothaman recently succumbed to a long drawn fight with cancer. A homage meeting is being organised by family members, disciples and rasikas along with Naada Inbam. The event is to be held on March 13 at Ragasudha Hall, Luz starting 5;30 p.m.

This is the tribute meeting schedule –

5:30   –  Prayer and welcome address. 5:45  – Lighting of the lamp for vidushi Suguna by Suguna Varadachari.

5:55  –  “Sunaadam” Students sing vidushi Suguna’s compositions. 7;00  –  Short photo narration on vidushi Suguna

7:15 onwards – Tribute speeches.

Dignitaries and colleagues will speak of the vidushi. N Murali, President, Music Academy, Cleveland Sundaram, vidwan P.S. Narayanaswamy, Suguna Varadachari, and long time accompanists Thanjavur Kumar and  Usha Rajagopalan and Dr. H. Subramony will share their thoughts.
