The P.C. Sekhar Memorial Cricket Tournament (Under 14 Boys) sponsored by the Sanmar group and organized by P.S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore was held from Jan 5 – 13 in the city recently. 32 city schools participated in the tournament. At the valedictory function held on Jan 13, IPL player, Prasanth Parameswaran distributed the prizes. Students of P. S. Senior were declared the runners up at the event. Three awards were won by P. S. Senior- the best player award by Abhishek Venkatesh, the best bowler award by Abhijith Venkatesh and the most promising young cricketer of the tournament award by B. Bavesh.
