San Thome High Road’s one side will be closed to traffic from the midnight of Saturday to around 9 am on Sunday because one leg of the Chennai Marathon is to be run from the Madras University area to the south end of the city.
Runners will be using the beach road, San Thome High Road and Dr DGS Dhinakaran Road.
Hence, people in the Sa Thome area who attend Holy Mass on Sunday morning will be advised not to come by cars/taxis and those using two-wheelers may not gain direct access to the church campus till about 9 a.m.
