It is over a week since the heavy rainfall which further damaged the main roads and inner streets of the Mylapore area and yet there is little evidence that Chennai Corporation is set to repair the roads. Though the civic body’s teams have swept the bitumen and dust off the roads like the south end of R K Mutt Road and potholes in Kamaraj Salai in R A Puram have been filled with ‘rubbish’ ( construction waste), little else is seen.
The badly damaged R K Mutt Road, San Thome High Road and C P Ramaswamy Road remain the way they were during the rain last fortnight.
