The girls (under 19) chess team of Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A. Puram lifted the trophy at the CBSE south zone chess championship held from Oct 16 – 19. About 19 teams participated in this event. The school’s under – 19 boys mixed team was placed third. Medals, trophies and certificates were distributed to the winners who will participate in the nationals to be held next month at Amritsar.
