Rain, which is usually welcomed in Chennai, has added to the woes of the hawkers selling golu dolls at North Mada Street, Mylapore. Devi who sells her wares outside ICICI Bank says, “We cannot sell anything when it rains. The dolls will loose their shine in the rain.” So when will she open her shop? “I don’t know.
