Conservation march from Marina beach

On October 4 at 6 a.m., a conservation march for elephants and rhinos – India’s wild animals facing extinction – is being organised by wildlife conservation group Wild Walk. These animals are being poached for their tusks and horns and the march calls for a complete ban on ivory trading, and to promote wildlife literacy and conservation efforts. It will begin from the Lighthouse and the walk will continue till the Labour Statue on Marina Beach. More details available on Wild Walk’s Facebook page.

To register for the march, send an email to march4elesandrhinos@gmail.com.
