On August 9, a talk on ‘August 1942 – Quit India Movement’ will be held at Mylapore. Organised by the Jayaprakash Narayan Forum and The South Indian National Association (Ranade Library), the chief guest will be B. S. Raghavan, former chief secretary of the government of West Bengal, and former secretary and policy advisor at the UN. The Rajaji Centre for Public Affairs and The South Indian National Association will be honoured for their services to society.
