Nandalala Temple, Mylapore has organised a grand Sri Krishna Jayanthi Mahotsavam from Aug 16 – 19. All the events will take place in the presence of Pujyasri Mathioli Saraswathy.
The celebrations start off with the inauguration of a thematic exhibition “Madhura Bakthi” on Aug 16 by the chief guest T. N. Seshagopalan. This will be followed by “Sri Balakrishna Oorvalam” at 4.30 p.m. On Aug 17, a special Thirumanjanam will be conducted at 8.30 a.m. followed by Sri Krishna Janana Vaibhavam at 4.15 p.m.
On Aug 18, an “Uriyadi Urchavam” – the breaking of pots ceremony has been organised at 8.30 a.m. The celebrations end with a pushpanjali to Lord Krishna and Radha on Aug 19.
