St. Anthony’s Girls School, Mandavelli celebrated “Kalvi Valarchi Naal” on July 15 at the school premises. Five new clubs – English, Tamil, science, maths and the social club were also inaugurated on the same day.
A cultural programme was put up by the students of the clubs – a speech on “The Kingmaker – Kamaraj” by the English club, Kummi Aatam by the Tamil club, a street play on rain water harvesting by the science club, a song on mathematical formulae by the maths club and a skit on the life of Kamaraj by the social club. Retired PG Teacher Xavier, headmistress Rev. Jasintha Victoria, the assistant head mistress, staff and students participated in the event.
