More than 100 people are getting ready to walk from the Anjaneya Temple at R. H. Road to Tirupathi on July 19 at 10.30 a.m. They are expected to reach Tirupathi on July 23. Women above the age of 45 and children above the age of 12 have registered for this walk. The devotees will be followed by a van with provisions and a group of people who will cook for the devotees.
One of the organizers K. Pattabiraman says, “The Mylai Anjaneya Bhakta Jana Sabha have been doing this for 15 years now. Adi is a very holy month for Goddess Amman. Tirupathi will be relatively less crowded during this month and hence every year we organise this trip during this period. Before the devotees leave, they will participate in a bhajan programme at the temple which will be held at 8.30 a.m”. To register contact 9444894045, 9841361478.
