A short term certificate course for practicing advocates was inaugurated on June 11 at the department of distance education, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU). S. Vimala, judge, Madras High Court, delivered the inaugural address. Dr. P. Vanangamudi, Vice-chancellor, TNDALU welcomed the gathering.
The course will be conducted by experienced academicians and senior lawyers. Topics covered include drafting, pleading and conveyance, ethics and advocacy skills, information technology and case management. At the end of the course, the trainees will be required to undergo a descriptive test, after which a certificate of completion with grades will be issued. At 5, Dr. D. G. S.
