San Thome won a thriller of a match against arch rivals St. Bede’s to enter the final of the TNCA cricket tourney for schools forunder 16 players today.
San Thome were all out for 140 runs in this truncated match ( rain washed out the first day on Monday so the match was reduced to 50 overs a side) and in reply, St Bedes’s almost got there – scoring 134 but losing all their batsmen.
The match was played at the St Bede’s ground.
In another semifinal at the same ground, Don Bosco had a easy win over PSBB, K K Nagar team. Dn Bosco had scored 166 while the opposition could score only 108.
St Bedes’ under 14 team is also in the the final of the TNCA schools tourney for under 14 players. It will St Patricks in that final.
