Artistes and musicians will take the stage next week at the TN Music College campus to take part in a 66 hour long, continuous series of music concerts to celebrate the 66th birthday of chief minister J. Jayalalithaa. The series starts on Feb. 24 at 10 am with nadaswaram and ends on Feb.27 at 4 p.m.
Listed as performers are T M Krishna, M Chandrasekaran, dancer Lakshmi Ramaswamy and Veena Gayathri.
Many such celebrations of all kinds are scheduled for the birthday.
Gayathri is now the Vice Chancellor of the TN Music and Dance University which has its office at the music college campus. Call 24933110.
